Beattie’s Distillers Potato Vodka

beatties potato vodka

Beattie’s Distillers hail from Alliston, Ontario – the home of the Canadian Honda! Seriously, there is a Honda plant there that produces the Civic and the CR-V. Anyways, LCBO started carrying Beattie’s Potato Vodka in the summer/fall of 2016 and I grabbed a bottle almost immediately. But then I sat on the review for a long time…so my apologies.

Beattie’s vodka has a sweet, slightly floral nose with hints of corn and butter. Its mouth-feel is rather oily at first but silky smooth in the long run. The palate is mostly clean but there are notes of butter, very subtle citrus and peppery spices.

This is a fairly clean vodka for a $35 bottle that works pretty well with vermouth and olives. However, at this price point, Tito’s is my go-to.
